Anneke DeJong
Anneke is originally from Holland and moved from Calgary, Alberta to Vancouver Island in 2011. Anneke loves drawing, previously painted in watercolours and recently switched to acrylics. She works from a studio in her home.
The beautiful surroundings of the island inspire her as do the many artist friends with whom she paints She has taken courses with well-known local artists and credit courses in drawing at North Island College. She is an active member of the Art Group of the Comox Valley as well the Pearl Ellis Gallery.
