Piet Rutgers
Piet Rutgers is a former planner and developer of public parks and buildings with the Vancouver Park Board. Professionally affiliated with the urban design movement known as Vancouverism in his spare time he developed his skills in designing and building furniture for the home. Each piece is handcrafted in fine wood with close attention to detail. He has developed a unique collection of fine Arts and Crafts furniture, cabinets and home accessories.
Piet was selected to be a 2011, 2012 and 2013 Filberg Festival Artisan. He also accepts commissions for Arts and Crafts furniture pieces. More recently he has also worked in the Danish Style.
